Essential Cleaning in El Centro & the Imperial Valley
Essential Cleaning is our recurring maid service: the kitchen, the bathrooms, the floors, and the everyday surfaces, on whatever schedule fits your home. It keeps a lived-in house consistently fresh without paying for detail work you do not need every visit.

Inside the oven and fridge, air vents, inside windows and tracks, and slat-by-slat blinds are part of Deep Cleaning. Inside cabinets and drawers come with Move In / Move Out, or on request.
Who it’s for
Busy households that want the house kept up between deep cleans: families, people who work long days, and anyone who would rather spend the weekend on something other than bathrooms. Weekly keeps a busy home ahead of the mess, biweekly is our most popular, and monthly works for homes that mostly keep up on their own. If your home has not been cleaned in a while, we usually suggest starting with a Deep Clean and then switching to Essential.

Let us know how we get in if you will not be home after the walkthrough.
What’s not included
Inside the oven and fridge, air vents, inside windows and window tracks, and wiping blinds slat by slat are Deep Cleaning work. Inside cabinets and drawers, behind appliances, and window screens come with Move In / Move Out, or on request. Carpet shampooing, exterior windows, and repairs are not something we do.
What affects the price
The level of cleanliness affects the price the most, which is why our quote form asks about it. Size, the number of bathrooms, and the service you choose come next. We charge a little extra per pet in the home. Every estimate is confirmed with an in-person walkthrough before work starts, so there are no surprises on the day. We accept cash, Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo.
Do I need to be home?
You are welcome to stay, but you do not have to. We only need you there for the walkthrough at the start and a quick look at the end. In between, you are free to leave.
Questions about Essential Cleaning
Is Essential Cleaning the same as a maid service?
Yes. It is the recurring housekeeping most people mean by maid service: kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly schedule.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. We bring everything, and we have used eco-friendly products and hypoallergenic vacuums from the start.
Can I change how often you come?
Yes. Move between weekly, biweekly, and monthly whenever your routine changes. Just let us know before the next visit.
Will the same people come every time?
Yes. It is just the two of us, Julia and Luis, so the people who clean your home are the same people who answer the phone.
Do I need to be home?
Only for the walkthrough at the start and a quick look at the end. In between, you are free to leave.
Nelson’s Cleaning Co. is Julia and Luis Nelson, a mother and son team that opened in June 2026. The two of us do every clean ourselves, in English or Spanish.
